Allyson Felix

Allyson Michael Felix an Los Angeles native born on the 18th of November, 1985. Felix's father Paul Felix is an ordained Minister in the Master's Seminary, Sun Valley. As for her mother, Marlean Felix is a teacher at Balboa Magnet Primary School. Felix showed an early aptitude to play sports while in high school at Los Angeles Baptist High School. Felix discovered her athletic ability at the at the time. Ten weeks after the first attempt she made, she was ranked second for 200m at the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix has graduated from high school in 2003, signed the sports contract with Adidas. After that, she was accepted into an institution called the University of Southern California and completed her studies in elementary education. Felix received her first Olympic gold at the Athens Summer Olympics 2004. Felix broke a junior-world record running 200 meters for 22.18. In 2005, the Helsinki World Championships saw her become the shortest woman ever to be crowned the winner of the 200-meter race. In 2007 she defended the title by beating her Jamaican competitor Veronica Campbell. Felix was consistently in the top third of each of her events in Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo.
